Maungaraki is a suburb of Lower Hutt nestled on the Western Hills of the Hutt Valley between Korokoro and Normandale. It is 10 minutes north of New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington. The suburb overlooks the Hutt Valley, Petone and the Wellington Harbour. Homeowner’s near the top of the hill have spectacular and breathtaking views.
Maungaraki is predominantly family focused with about two thirds of all 3500 residents belonging to a family unit (www.maungaraki.com). The suburb is surrounded by a number of beautiful native parks including the Belmont Regional Park, Percy’s Scenic Reserve and the Banksia Playground which is perfect for families.
